Scout Uniform Policy

Class ‘A’ Uniform

Troop 160 Class ‘A’ Uniform will consist of the following:

Official Boy Scout Shirt with appropriate emblems, patches, and pins

Official Boy Scout Belt

Official Boy Scout Socks – any style

Official Boy Scout Shorts or Slacks or Non-BSA olive green or khaki slacks

Leather shoes or hiking shoes/boots

Tuesday Night Meetings

Tuesday Night Meeting Uniform will consist of the following:

Official Boy Scout Shirt with appropriate emblems, patches, and pins

Official Boy Scout Belt

Official Boy Scout Socks – any style

Non-denim shorts or slacks appropriate for Scout Meeting (No shorts or sweats allowed)

Leather shoes, hiking shoes/boots, or athletic shoes

Class ‘B’ Uniform

Troop 160 Class ‘B’ Uniform will consist of the following:

Troop 160 BSA T-shirt (available for purchase at Scout Hut)

 -or- Official BSA T-shirt

Non-denim shorts or slacks appropriate for Scout Meeting (of course Official Boy Scout shorts or pants are preferred)

Leather shoes, hiking shoes/boots, or athletic shoes allowed

Class ‘A’ Uniform is to be worn to Courts of Honor, Eagle Ceremonies, and other occasions as designated by the Scoutmaster.

Class ‘B’ Uniform is to be worn to Scout Meetings during the summer recess, summer camp, and other occasions as designated by the Scoutmaster.
